Relief Chef – Flexible Kitchen Support Across Scotland

About the role

We are looking for reliable relief chefs to provide short‑term kitchen support for a range of hospitality clients across Scotland. You will work on‑site in hotels, pubs and restaurants, often in remote locations that are accessible by public transport.

Key responsibilities

• Run a designated section during service, ensuring timely delivery of dishes.
• Prepare and execute prep lists to keep mise en place ready.
• Order and receive ingredients, maintaining stock levels.
• Work across multiple kitchen sections as required.
• Log temperature checks, uphold hygiene standards and keep the kitchen clean.
• Take overall responsibility for the kitchen on senior bookings.
