Religious Education Teacher – Full‑time (Key Stages 3‑4)

About the role
We are looking for a passionate and inspiring Religious Education (RE) teacher to join our welcoming secondary school in Chelmsford. The role involves delivering high‑quality, inclusive lessons that develop students' understanding of religion, ethics, philosophy and the wider world across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging RE lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain high expectations for achievement and behaviour.
- Contribute to the collaborative Humanities department.
- Participate in continuous professional development and safeguarding duties.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or working towards it.
- Ability to teach RE across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 desirable).
- Commitment to high academic and behavioural standards.
- Passion for inclusive, engaging teaching.
- Team‑player who values professional development.
