Remote Commodity Broker / Agent

About the role

Pallas Fuels, a London‑based physical commodities brokerage, is looking for a commercially driven Commodity Broker / Agent to originate and execute physical agricultural transactions across African markets. This remote position focuses on developing new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and supporting the execution of international trade flows.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and originate physical commodity transactions for a range of agricultural products.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with producers, suppliers, traders, and end‑buyers.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of client relationships across East and West Africa.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of trade flows.
• Monitor market trends and provide commercial insights to clients.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of physical commodity markets and international trade flows.
• Experience with brokerage processes and transaction execution.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• High level of professionalism, integrity and commercial awareness.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Knowledge of derivatives and hedging strategies (advantageous).
