Remote Family Solicitor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Family Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join a respected Legal 500 firm in South Devon. The position offers predominantly remote work with occasional attendance at the office for meetings, collaboration days, and client matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of private family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, and child arrangements.
• Provide high‑quality advice to privately funded clients and represent them in court hearings.
• Develop and grow your own client base and specialist interests within family law.
• Collaborate with the existing family law team and contribute to the firm’s reputation.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor (FCILEx) or Chartered Legal Executive.
• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience in family law.
• Proven ability to handle private family law matters independently.
• Based in South Devon or the surrounding area and able to attend occasional court hearings and office meetings.
