About the role
We are seeking an experienced Tax Consultant (EA/CPA) to work remotely on a contract basis for a global financial services leader. The role involves interpreting complex US federal and state tax statutes and reviewing their English translations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze US federal and state tax statutes, focusing on conditions, thresholds, logic, and legal exceptions.
- Review and evaluate English translations of complex tax laws for clarity and correctness.
- Provide structured written feedback through a review UI, highlighting inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps.
- Apply logical reasoning to identify and resolve documentation issues.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver compliant tax interpretations.
Required profile
- Certified EA or CPA with extensive experience in US tax law.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning abilities.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented with a focus on regulatory compliance.
