Renewable Energy Electrician – Kent & South London

About the role

Our client is expanding its engineering team and seeks qualified electricians to work across Kent and South London. The position offers a permanent, full‑time contract with a clear pathway into renewable‑energy technologies such as solar PV, battery storage and EV charging.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, inspection, testing and maintenance in domestic and commercial settings.
• Support the rollout and servicing of renewable systems, including solar PV, battery storage and EV charging stations.
• Follow health and safety standards and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to deliver high‑quality service.

Required profile

• Committed to continuous professional development and high standards.

Required skills

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Technology or equivalent.
• Knowledge of BS 7671:2018 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations).
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to undergo a DBS check.
• Desirable: AM2 assessment, 2391 inspection & testing, and certifications in solar PV, battery storage or EV charging.
