Renewals Underwriter – Financial Lines (Hybrid, Leeds)

About the role
We are seeking a Renewals Underwriter to join our established underwriting team in Leeds. The position is hybrid, offering the flexibility to work both from the office and remotely while focusing on managing and growing an existing portfolio of financial‑lines business.
Key responsibilities
- Manage renewals for a book of financial‑lines policies, including Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers, Construction and Liability.
- Work closely with brokers to retain and develop key accounts.
- Deliver accurate underwriting decisions and maintain strong risk assessment standards.
- Support the team in achieving renewal targets and profitability.
Required profile
- Experience in underwriting or insurance broking within financial or commercial lines.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment and underwriting principles.
- Ability to build and maintain broker relationships.
Required skills
- Underwriting of financial‑lines products.
- Risk evaluation and policy analysis.
