Research Analyst (French-speaking)

About the role

Join the EMEA research team at Chambers & Partners as a French‑speaking Research Analyst based in London. You will play a pivotal part in gathering and analysing market feedback to produce the renowned Chambers rankings and editorial guides.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct background research on assigned practice areas and jurisdictions.
• Identify and interview lawyers, in‑house counsel and other experts via phone or online questionnaires.
• Log communications accurately and track research progress.
• Analyse interview data to create impartial ranking tables.
• Write business‑focused editorials for the Chambers website and guides.
• Collaborate with the Deputy Editor and Research Manager to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Degree‑educated with strong interest or experience in research and analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with professionals from diverse backgrounds.
• High attention to detail, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
• Intellectually curious and motivated to develop expertise in legal markets.

Required skills

• Fluent French language proficiency.
