Research Analyst – USA Market (London)

About the role

Chambers and Partners is seeking a Research Analyst to support its USA research team. Based in the London office two days a week, you will help shape the firm’s globally recognised legal rankings by gathering and analysing market feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct background research on assigned practice areas and jurisdictions.
• Identify and contact lawyers, in‑house counsel and third‑party experts for telephone or online interviews.
• Log all communications accurately and monitor research progress.
• Develop relationships with key market participants and pursue additional research leads.
• Analyse interview data to produce impartial ranking tables.
• Write business‑focused editorials for the Chambers website and guide publications.

Required profile

• University degree with an interest or experience in North‑American legal market research.
• Comfortable speaking on the phone with professionals from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a research manager.
