Resident Liaison Officer – Customer Liaison Role

About the role

We are seeking a Resident Liaison Officer to act as the primary point of contact for residents during refurbishment and retrofit projects across West Yorkshire. The role bridges residents, housing providers and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain positive relationships with residents throughout project delivery.
• Provide clear, regular updates on planned works and manage resident enquiries.
• Liaise with housing associations, local authorities and client representatives.
• Organise and attend resident meetings and consultation events.
• Handle concerns and complaints professionally and monitor satisfaction.
• Support site teams to deliver an excellent resident experience.
• Maintain accurate records and communication logs.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer or similar customer‑facing role in social housing.
• Experience supporting residents during refurbishment or planned works is desirable.
• Strong communication, organisational and administrative abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
