Residential and Commercial Property Solicitor

About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established firm in Surrey to recruit a Conveyancing Solicitor with at least two years post‑qualification experience. The successful candidate will manage a mixed residential and commercial property caseload while supporting the Head of Branch on a variety of conveyancing matters.

Key responsibilities

• Handle residential and commercial property transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and related documentation.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other third parties.
• Support the Head of Branch on conveyancing issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Identify and resolve issues quickly to keep transactions progressing.
• Maintain accurate, compliant and well‑organized files throughout each matter.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years PQE in conveyancing.
• Experience across both residential and commercial property (preferred).
• Proven ability to manage an independent caseload.
• Strong communication and client‑care skills.
• Organised, proactive and able to work at pace.
• Comfortable using case management systems.
• Practical, problem‑solving approach.
