Residential Conveyancer – Fee Earner (Hybrid)

About the role

QED Legal is looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its close‑knit property team in Haywards Heath. You will manage a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to post‑completion, working in a supportive environment that values quality over volume.

Key responsibilities

• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Process remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Manage new‑build and shared‑ownership transactions where applicable.
• Conduct title checks, draft contracts and respond to enquiries.
• Maintain strong client relationships throughout each transaction.

Required profile

• Proven ability to run a full residential conveyancing caseload independently.
• Client‑first mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive, or experienced fee earner with relevant experience.
