Residential Conveyancer – Solicitor or Legal Executive (Hybrid)

About the role

A well‑established Devon law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer, either a qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, to join its supportive team. The role offers a hybrid working model and focuses on delivering high‑quality, personalised service rather than volume‑driven targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Process remortgages and transfers of equity.
• Deal with easements, unregistered land and other complex property matters.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues and administrative support to ensure client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
• Proven ability to manage residential conveyancing matters independently.
• Organised, detail‑oriented and client‑focused.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Team player with a personable approach.

Required skills

• Residential conveyancing, including freehold/leasehold transactions, remortgages, equity transfers, easements and unregistered land.
