Residential Conveyancing Lawyer – Burgess Hill

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Lawyer to join our busy property team in Burgess Hill. You will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters while working in a collaborative, employee‑owned firm that values clear, client‑focused advice.

Key responsibilities

• Handle sales and purchases, shared‑ownership, new‑build and re‑mortgage transactions.
• Provide expert legal advice to clients, estate agents, lenders and other parties.
• Draft and review contracts, leases, transfer deeds and related documentation.
• Liaise with external stakeholders and delegate tasks to the support team as appropriate.
• Maintain up‑to‑date, compliant case files and stay informed of changes in conveyancing legislation.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential conveyancing.
• Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and property law.
• Excellent communication and client‑care abilities.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
