Residential Conveyancing Solicitor – 2+ PQE

About the role

The Legists, a well‑established law firm in Bristol, is seeking a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor with at least two years post‑qualification experience. You will join a busy property team, handling a full caseload of residential transactions while working in a supportive, flexible environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage freehold and leasehold sales and purchases from instruction to completion.
• Handle remortgages, equity transfers and related financing matters.
• Process new‑build and off‑plan transactions, including shared ownership and Help to Buy schemes.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents and lenders to ensure smooth transaction flow.
• Maintain accurate case records and meet all regulatory compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive (CILEx) or Licensed Conveyancer.
• Minimum 2 years PQE managing residential conveyancing matters independently.
• Commercially aware with a client‑focused approach.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
