Residential Conveyancing Solicitor – Dorset (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join our well‑established Dorset law firm. The role offers a hybrid working model, allowing you to split your time between the office and remote locations while handling a full residential property caseload from instruction to post‑completion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residential conveyancing matters end‑to‑end, ensuring compliance with property and land law.
• Prepare and review contracts, transfer documents, and liaise with clients, lenders, and third‑party professionals.
• Maintain accurate time records and meet targeted deadlines.
• Provide guidance and support to junior fee earners and administrative staff.
• Assist in business development activities, including networking and marketing the practice.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor with 4+ years PQE (or Chartered Legal Executive) and solid knowledge of Residential Property and Land Law.
• Proven ability to handle a full caseload independently.
• Experience advising and mentoring junior team members is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using case management and digital dictation software.
