About the role

An established law firm in Somerset is expanding its property team and seeks an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor. You will manage a full caseload of residential transactions from instruction to completion, working with a supportive team and a steady flow of high‑quality instructions.

Key responsibilities

• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Process remortgages, transfers of equity, and new‑build transactions
• Manage shared ownership and Help to Buy matters
• Liaise with estate agents, lenders and other stakeholders
• Ensure efficient file progression and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Support business development and maintain strong client relationships

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive
• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience in residential conveyancing
• Strong organisational ability to manage a busy caseload
• Excellent communication and client‑care skills
• Proactive, professional team player
