Residential Property Lawyer – 2+ PQE (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join a leading law firm’s property team in Bedfordshire. The role offers hybrid working and the chance to manage a diverse residential conveyancing portfolio while supporting junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Handle remortgaging, equity release, shared‑ownership and new‑build transactions, including Help to Buy.
• Conduct lease extensions, variations, transfers of equity and matrimonial property matters.
• Perform title investigations, reporting and provide comprehensive client advice.
• Support and mentor junior team members and develop local business relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience (or equivalent) in residential conveyancing.
• Strong technical knowledge of a broad range of residential property matters.
• Excellent communication and client‑care skills with the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with the Bedford property market is highly advantageous.
