Residential Property Lawyer – Associate/Senior Associate

About the role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate Residential Property Lawyer to join a well‑established residential conveyancing team in Canterbury, Kent, within a leading regional law firm backed by a national legal group.

Key responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload from instruction to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold transactions, sales and purchases, re‑mortgages and transfers of equity.
• Deal with more complex residential matters, including plot sales, development work and new‑build transactions (advantageous but not essential).
• Develop and maintain relationships with local estate agents and generate new business for the practice.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer.
• Associate or Senior Associate level experience in residential conveyancing.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Existing following and/or strong relationships with local estate agents (highly desirable).
• Commercially minded, client‑focused and motivated to contribute to practice growth.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case‑management systems.
