Residential Property Lawyer / Conveyancer (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer or Licensed Conveyancer to join our niche, forward‑thinking law firm. The role offers hybrid or fully remote working while handling a dynamic caseload of lease‑hold residential conveyancing matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of residential lease‑hold conveyancing transactions from pre‑contract enquiries to completion.
• Conduct title investigations, advise on covenants, easements and other title issues.
• Prepare and review contracts, transfer deeds, certificates and related documentation.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, surveyors and other third parties to progress transactions.
• Perform anti‑money‑laundering checks and adhere to regulatory and firm risk procedures.
• Provide clear client updates throughout each transaction and ensure high standards of client care.
• Support junior fee‑earners and contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer or equivalent experience in residential conveyancing.
• Proven experience handling lease‑hold conveyancing matters.
• Good working knowledge of Land Registry processes and title documentation.
• Strong client‑care skills with the ability to communicate complex legal information clearly.
• Ability to manage a caseload, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and a risk‑aware approach.
