Residential Property Solicitor – Associate/Senior Associate

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Residential Property Solicitor to join a top‑60 regional firm in Cambridge. The role offers the chance to work on a variety of non‑contentious residential transactions and to develop your legal expertise within a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice on sales and purchases, re‑mortgages, transfers of equity and lease creation or extensions.
• Handle voluntary first registration work and related drafting and registration tasks.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the team to share knowledge and develop business opportunities.
• Supervise and mentor junior fee earners and support staff.
• Participate in business development and referral initiatives.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years post‑qualification experience in residential property law.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and work collaboratively.
• Experience supervising junior team members is desirable.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Excellent technical legal knowledge in residential property transactions.
• High‑level drafting ability.
