Residential Property Solicitor / Conveyancer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Conveyancer to join a fast‑growing law firm. You will manage end‑to‑end residential conveyancing matters, from freehold and leasehold sales to remortgages and shared‑ownership purchases.

Key responsibilities

• Open, manage and close residential conveyancing files using the firm’s case‑management system.
• Prepare client care paperwork, onboarding documents and contract packs.
• Conduct title checks, raise enquiries, order searches and report results to clients.
• Draft and finalise contracts, arrange signatures and liaise with lenders, management companies and landlords.
• Handle post‑exchange and completion formalities, including registration and file closure.
• Maintain up‑to‑date electronic files and comply with firm policies on risk and compliance.
• Report to the Head of Department and meet financial targets.
• Develop a personal caseload to generate additional revenue for the firm.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years PQE in residential conveyancing, or 2‑5 years as a qualified Conveyancer.
• Proven ability to manage a varied caseload with minimal supervision.
• Client‑facing experience, including face‑to‑face meetings.
• Motivation to grow knowledge and develop professionally.
