Residential Support Worker – Term‑time (Full‑time/Part‑time)

About the role

This position supports children and young adults with special educational needs and disabilities in a residential setting. It is a term‑time only role, offering Monday‑to‑Friday work and the chance to help residents develop confidence and independence.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day personal care and support for residents.
  • Assist with activities that promote independence and social interaction.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive and inclusive living environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the residential team to deliver high‑quality care.

Required profile

  • Kind, patient and eager to learn.
  • No prior care experience required.
  • Willingness to work term‑time only (39 weeks per year).
  • Ability to work Monday‑to‑Friday schedule.

Required skills

  • Basic communication skills.
  • Ability to follow training and care procedures.
