Residential Surveyor – Remote Working, Up to £80k OTE

About the role

We are recruiting an experienced Residential Surveyor to join an independent surveying practice serving the Preston area. The position offers remote working, strong earning potential and clear pathways for long‑term career development.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct residential property valuations in line with professional standards.
• Carry out RICS Level 2 and Level 3 surveys, inspecting properties for defects, maintenance issues and risks.
• Produce accurate, detailed survey reports for clients and provide professional advice to homeowners, buyers and other stakeholders.
• Manage own workload efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
• Utilise modern surveying technology, including iPads and specialist applications.
• Ensure compliance with RICS regulations and industry best practices.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and referrers.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Residential Surveyor.
• VRS registration.
• Proven experience conducting residential valuations and Level 2 & 3 surveys.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence.
