Retail Assistant Manager – Bluewater Boutique

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, commercially‑driven Assistant Manager to lead our Nespresso boutique at Bluewater Shopping Centre. In this full‑time position you will be responsible for achieving sales targets while delivering a premium customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct shop‑floor observations and provide feedback to the team.
• Coach staff daily using customer‑experience insights.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the boutique.
• Facilitate team training sessions and mentor sales assistants.
• Manage and resolve escalated customer complaints.
• Monitor internal control processes and lead ad‑hoc audits.
• Support HR processes, including employee‑relations cases.

Required profile

• Previous Assistant Manager or supervisory experience in a retail environment, preferably luxury.
• Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
• Strong understanding of the retail and competitive landscape for Nespresso.
• Enthusiasm for coaching, training and mentoring team members.
• Ability to foster a positive, collaborative team culture.
• Experience handling employee‑relations matters.
