Retail Assistant – Part‑time (12 hrs/week)

About the role

Farmfoods is seeking a friendly Retail Assistant to join its Worcester store on a permanent part‑time basis. You will work a minimum of 12 hours across three days each week, covering a mix of shifts including weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and assist them in locating products.
• Operate the tills efficiently, offering help with bagging and checkout.
• Receive deliveries, stock shelves and freezers, and maintain product rotation.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy and safe by following daily and weekly routines.

Required profile

• Positive, hard‑working attitude and enjoyment of a busy environment.
• Reliability and flexibility to cover occasional shift changes.
• Ability to work well within a small team and support colleagues.

Required skills

• Customer‑service mindset.
• Basic cash‑handling and point‑of‑sale operation.
• Ability to lift and move stock safely.
