Retail Partner – 50% Share Opportunity

About the role

Specsavers is offering a unique 50% share partnership for an ambitious retail professional to join the Consett store. The role combines commercial leadership with hands‑on store management in a freshly refitted, high‑street location.

Key responsibilities

• Co‑own and operate the Consett store on a 50/50 partnership basis.
• Lead a team of a store manager, six retail colleagues, an optometrist and pre‑registration staff.
• Drive sales growth and commercial performance while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Oversee the clinical area, including three test rooms, OCT equipment and upcoming field‑machine installations.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, stock, merchandising and local marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven retail management experience, preferably in optical or health‑care retail.
• Strong commercial acumen and a track record of growing store revenue.
• Leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a diverse team.
• Entrepreneurial mindset ready to take on a partnership ownership role.
