Retail Sales Advisor (20 hrs/week)

About the role

DFS Furniture is looking for a friendly Retail Sales Advisor to join its Londonderry store on a 20‑hour weekly basis. You will help customers choose sofas, beds and accessories, delivering a high‑quality shopping experience both in‑store and online.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers, building natural connections.
• Listen to customer needs and provide expert product advice.
• Guide shoppers through the buying journey, answering questions and suggesting suitable items.
• Maintain a tidy and inviting sales floor.
• Process transactions and handle any post‑sale enquiries.

Required profile

• Approachable and enthusiastic personality.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work flexible store hours, including peak times.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge through provided training.
