Retail Sales Advisor – Furniture Retail

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Retail Sales Advisor to join a leading premium home furniture and décor retailer in North East England. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, guiding shoppers to the right products, and driving sales in a dynamic store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert product advice and outstanding service to help customers find ideal furniture and décor.
• Build and maintain strong relationships to encourage repeat business.
• Proactively generate new sales through engagement and product recommendations.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
• Stay up‑to‑date with product knowledge and industry trends.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth store operations.
• Maintain accurate sales records and customer information.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Customer‑first attitude and strong team spirit.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and eager to develop a sales career.
• Ability to build rapport and long‑term customer relationships.
• Experience in sales is advantageous but not essential.
