Retail Sales Assistant & Driver (24‑hour)

About the role

Majestic Wine Salisbury is looking for a dynamic, ambitious individual to join the store team as a Retail Sales Assistant and Driver. You will support daily store operations, deliver exceptional customer service and help maximise sales performance across a 24‑hour schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Drive store performance by identifying and maximising sales opportunities.
• Provide market‑leading customer service, building loyalty and repeat purchases.
• Offer a VIP concierge service, contacting customers with product updates and tastings.
• Maintain in‑depth knowledge of the wine and spirits range and support personal WSET qualification.
• Ensure the store’s internal and external appearance is tidy and well‑maintained.
• Handle operational tasks such as delivering wine to customers, merchandising stock deliveries and making sales‑driving phone calls.
• Identify improvement opportunities and feed ideas back to the wider team.
• Follow internal policies, complete mandatory training and uphold safety and compliance standards.
• Act as a key holder, managing opening and closing procedures.
