Roofing Estimator

About the role

We are seeking a Roofing Estimator to join our construction recruitment team in Oldham. You will be responsible for producing accurate cost estimates for a variety of roofing and cladding projects, supporting both new business development and ongoing client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare competitive estimates for roofing and cladding solutions in line with client specifications.
• Generate timely, well‑structured quotes for projects ranging from £5k to £300k.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients.
• Manage inbox and monitor client enquiries to ensure prompt responses.
• Track project costs throughout the delivery phase to maintain budget control.

Required profile

• Proven estimating experience within the construction sector.
• Familiarity with CAD software for drawing and design review.
• Strong commercial awareness and IT literacy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with solid numerical abilities.
