Room Attendant – Hotel Housekeeping

About the role

As a Room Attendant at Malmaison Brighton you will be part of the Housekeeping team responsible for delivering spotless guest bedrooms each day. You will work to the brand’s high standards, ensuring every guest enjoys a perfect night’s stay.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and tidy all guest rooms on a daily basis, following Malmaison’s quality guidelines.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory of linen, amenities and cleaning supplies.
• Report any maintenance issues or guest concerns to the relevant departments.
• Adhere to set shift patterns, typically between 9 am‑3 pm, five days a week.

Required profile

• Strong eye for detail and high personal standards.
• Ability to work independently for periods of time.
• Conversational English to interact with guests.
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of housekeeping.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Operation of standard housekeeping equipment.
