Room Attendant – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are looking for a Room Attendant to join the team at The Dorchester, a luxury hotel recognised for its award‑winning service. You will play a key part in delivering a flawless guest experience by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation in guest rooms.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and service guest rooms with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all amenities are stocked and presented to the highest standard.
• Respond to special guest requests, including bespoke set‑ups, additional supplies and occasion‑specific arrangements.
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards throughout the housekeeping area.
• Work shift‑based schedules, Monday to Sunday, with start times as early as 07:00 and final shifts ending at 18:30.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations across the hotel.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Good time‑management to complete room turnovers promptly.
• Physical stamina to be on feet and lift items throughout the shift.
• Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to assist colleagues.
• Previous experience in a 5‑star hotel housekeeping role is preferred.
• Customer‑service mindset and organisational abilities are a plus.
