Sales Account Manager – Healthcare (Scotland)

About the role

Join a high‑growth, PE‑backed pharmaceutical business as it builds its first commercial sales team. Based remotely in Scotland or the North‑East of England, you will travel to NHS and private hospitals to develop relationships and grow revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Own the Scotland territory, visiting NHS and private hospitals as required.
• Grow revenue within existing accounts and identify gaps in product coverage.
• Open new accounts through relationship‑led sales of small‑ticket, critical items such as pre‑filled syringes, parenteral nutrition and chemotherapy lines.
• Act as the link between pharmacy, procurement and frontline care teams.
• Manage your own diary, sales pipeline and targets with full internal support.

Required profile

• Proven sales experience in healthcare, pharma, life sciences, biotech, health‑tech or medical devices.
• Strong understanding of NHS procurement processes.
• Ability to work flexibly, travelling 1‑3 days per week as business needs dictate.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable managing a remote base while being field‑focused.
