Sales Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Administrator to join a successful manufacturing company in Bridgnorth. Reporting to the Office Manager and working closely with the Administration and Production teams, you will support the day‑to‑day operations of the Sales Department. This full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday role offers a competitive rate of £14.42 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Managing despatch administration and documentation
• Raising invoices and maintaining accurate records
• Preparing estimates and quotations for standard products
• Liaising with existing customers and suppliers
• Communicating with production teams regarding materials, scheduling, expediting and despatch
• Arranging and booking courier services
• Providing administrative support and cover for other office staff when required
• Using Sage Accounts as part of daily duties
• Assisting with material planning using CIM50 following a training period, including purchasing materials and issuing materials to the shop floor

Required profile

• Strong computer literacy and data entry skills
• Experience working with Excel spreadsheets
• Previous experience within an office‑based administration role
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience working alongside production or manufacturing teams
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
