Sales Assistant – Retail & Charity Fashion

About the role

Traid is seeking a motivated Sales Assistant to join its Dalston shop. You will help run the store day‑to‑day, deliver excellent customer service and support the charity‑focused, second‑hand fashion mission.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customers with a friendly, knowledgeable in‑store experience.
• Process weekly deliveries, tag, price and keep the shop floor fully stocked.
• Operate the till, handle cash and balance at the end of each shift.
• Manage Gift Aid donations and act as store custodian in the manager’s absence.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and act as a brand ambassador.

Required profile

• Passion for second‑hand clothing, fashion and knowledge of brands.
• Team‑player with stamina for a busy retail environment.
• Proven reliability and prior customer‑service experience.
• Strong communication skills and creative problem‑solving.
• Flexibility with working hours and days.
