Sales Coordinator (Fluent French & Conversational Japanese)

About the role

The company, a Japanese game‑related manufacturer, is looking for a Sales Coordinator to support its French market operations from its South London office. You will work closely with the Sales Manager, helping to grow relationships with retailers and distributors across France and Europe while gaining exposure to international sales processes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with retailers and distributors in France and the wider European market.
• Conduct sales analysis, forecasting and support marketing initiatives to drive growth.
• Assist with licensing agreements and negotiations with hardware and software partners.
• Translate business documents, product information and marketing materials between Japanese, English and French.
• Provide interpretation support during meetings when required.
• Prepare, negotiate and manage business contracts, including patent‑related research.
• Support office administration tasks such as bank accounts, petty cash and expatriate staff matters.
• Handle customer enquiries, resolve issues and support worldwide sales activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of office experience, preferably in sales support or a related function.
• Fluent French (C1 level or higher) and conversational Japanese (JLPT N3 or above).
• Experience living or working in Japan is a strong advantage.
• Interest in gaming, digital entertainment or technology sectors.
• Good understanding of Japanese business culture and strong communication skills.
