Sales Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Coordinator to provide back‑office support for a field sales packaging specialist. The role involves generating quotes, processing orders and handling customer enquiries, allowing the specialist to focus on selling and account growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support allocated packaging specialists by preparing quotes and processing orders.
• Liaise with the warehouse to monitor order progress and communicate any delays to customers.
• Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone and email, escalating issues when required.
• Manage allocated customer accounts, act as the primary point of contact and maintain stock levels for call‑off stock.
• Identify and pursue new or inactive customers to generate additional sales.
• Cross‑sell and up‑sell packaging products to existing customers.
• Perform general administrative duties such as answering calls, routing emails and filing documentation.

Required profile

• Experience in an internal sales or back‑office role, preferably within a wholesaler or merchant environment.
• Strong customer service orientation and good planning and organisational abilities.
• Sales aptitude and the ability to build relationships with customers.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Business Central or a similar customer order system.
• Competent use of email and Microsoft Word.

• Salary starting at £26,765 per year, rising to £28,394.89.
