Sales Director – Retail

About the role

As the Sales Director – Retail for Cloetta in the United Kingdom, you will lead the commercial agenda across grocery, convenience, high‑street and discount channels. Reporting to the UK Leadership Team, you will be responsible for both top‑line growth and bottom‑line profitability, shaping how the company engages with its retail partners.

Key responsibilities

• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing UK sales organisation with a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Own senior‑level relationships with key customers across all retail channels, positioning Cloetta as an insight‑driven partner.
• Deliver revenue, margin and profitability targets through accurate forecasting, pricing, promotional investment and commercial terms management.
• Translate consumer insight and category data into clear commercial priorities and align sales, marketing and supply‑chain execution.
• Contribute to the medium‑ and long‑term UK commercial strategy as an active member of the UK Leadership Team.
