Sales Engineer – Heavy Mechanical (Torque & Hydraulic)

About the role

This is a field‑based Sales Engineer position focused on heavy mechanical equipment, including torque tools and hydraulic presses. You will work across the South East, visiting a variety of sites such as submarines and wind turbines, providing technical assistance and sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site assessments and fault finding for torque and non‑torque applications.
• Travel to customer locations to deliver technical advice, testing, and sales proposals.
• Manage your own diary and organise visits within the South Eastern patch.
• Develop and grow a personal sales territory while maintaining strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Background as a Sales Engineer in heavy mechanical engineering.
• Solid understanding of torque principles and hydraulic systems.
• Desire for a mobile, field‑based role covering the South East of England.
