Sales Manager – Engineering Services (Remote/West Midlands)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead business development for engineering services focused on pressure vessel inspection and assessment. You will work for a global organisation operating in 51 countries, supporting clients across multiple industries while enjoying a strong work‑life balance and comprehensive training.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, target and secure new logo clients for industrial inspection services, prioritising project‑based opportunities.
• Develop and execute proactive business‑development strategies to enter new markets, sectors and customer segments.
• Own the full sales lifecycle from lead generation through qualification, bid submission, negotiation and contract award.
• Build senior‑level relationships with engineering, procurement, quality and asset‑integrity stakeholders.
• Lead pursuit of inspection projects covering PED, ASME, welding, container and PSSR scopes.
• Drive early engagement on upcoming capital projects, shutdowns, maintenance programmes and regulatory‑driven inspections.

Required profile

• Proven success in winning new‑logo business and securing inspection‑led projects in a B2B industrial environment.
• Strong technical and commercial understanding of industrial inspection services.
• Experience working with pressure‑vessel codes and standards such as PED, ASME and PSSR.
• Ability to build senior‑level relationships and influence decision‑makers.
