Sales Manager – Insurance Brokerage

About the role

We are partnering with one of the UK’s highest‑performing insurance sales teams and are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead, inspire and grow the division. You will have full autonomy to shape the team, drive new business and work closely with internal partners to secure high‑value opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead from the front on sales activities and drive new business performance.
• Manage, coach and develop a high‑performing team of sales professionals.
• Leverage a strong pipeline of leads, introducers and marketing activity.
• Collaborate with internal project teams to target and convert larger commercial clients.
• Work with broking teams to deliver bespoke insurance solutions.
• Set performance standards, monitor results and ensure consistent achievement.
• Recruit, expand and shape the sales function as needed.
• Represent the business with senior stakeholders and key partners.

Required profile

• Proven background in insurance sales, preferably in a leadership or senior development role.
• Strong track record of winning and retaining commercial clients.
• Confident leader who can motivate a high‑performing sales team.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities.
• Commercial, target‑driven and comfortable leading by example.
• Ambitious, resilient and ready to own a fast‑growing division.
