Sales Manager – Strategic Accounts

About the role

This is a senior Sales Manager position focused on strategic accounts within a market‑leading commercial services organisation. You will continue to manage the company’s largest national accounts while leading a small, high‑performing team of Account Managers and Renewals Specialists.

Key responsibilities

• Own and grow several of the company’s biggest multi‑site accounts.
• Develop long‑term strategic relationships and maximise customer retention.
• Drive revenue growth within existing accounts and support complex commercial negotiations.
• Coach, mentor and develop three Account Managers and Renewals Specialists.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on future growth strategy and improve overall commercial performance.

Required profile

• Current experience as a Key Account Manager, National or Strategic Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, Client Relationship Manager, Business Development Manager or Sales Manager with strategic account responsibility.
• Proven track record in managing complex, multi‑site customer relationships and commercial negotiations.
• Strong financial awareness and ability to create and execute strategic account plans.
• Demonstrated leadership or mentoring experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a passion for developing people.
