Sales Office Manager

About the role

Travis Perkins, part of Travis Perkins plc and the UK's largest supplier of building materials to the building and construction industry, is recruiting a Sales Office Manager for its Colchester branch. The post is permanent and full time, with working hours Monday to Friday (40 hours) and 7:30am-5pm every other Saturday. The Sales Office Manager takes full responsibility for the profitability of the sales team and for servicing the building trade, while delivering value-added services in Hire, Benchmarx and Managed Services.

Key responsibilities

• Motivate and engage the team to deliver excellent customer service, strong sales performance and operational compliance.
• Coordinate all day-to-day activities of the Sales Office in collaboration with the team, the external sales force and key stakeholders.
• Contribute to sales growth through proactive customer engagement.
• Be fully responsible for service, safety, purchasing, people and maximising profitability.
• Adhere to company policy, procedure and regulation.

Required profile

• Experience managing budgets, controlling expenses and analysing sales data.
• Experience resolving customer complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction and end-to-end sales.
• Opportunity to progress within the company with development and training, including the option to complete an apprenticeship.
