Sales Team Lead - Young Driver Insurance

About the role

MyFirst Insurance, a provider specialising in young driver insurance, is looking for a confident and driven Sales Team Leader to oversee one of its teams of sales professionals. It is a hands-on leadership position combining sales expertise with coaching and performance management. The leader manages a small team of 6 while staying actively involved in sales themselves.

Key responsibilities

• Lead by example through your own sales activity, demonstrating best practice and a strong track record of hitting targets.
• Monitor team performance against daily, weekly and monthly KPIs and give guidance and support.
• Manage the full sales pipeline for the team, allocating leads effectively and maximising opportunities.
• Foster a positive team culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous development.

Required profile

• 3-5 years' experience in sales within insurance or a similar regulated industry.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding personal sales targets.
• Prior experience leading or supervising a sales team.
• Strong ability to motivate and inspire a sales team, with a positive and resilient mindset.
• Ability to drive to the HQ location, as the office is not accessible by public transport.
