SAP Solution Owner

About the role

FDM Group is seeking a SAP Solution Owner to support a healthcare client on a 3‑month contract, with strong prospects for extension. The role is hybrid, based in London, and sits at the centre of a major transformation programme, driving the move from fragmented legacy systems to an integrated, standardised SAP landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional expertise in SAP S/4HANA and SAP IPD/HANA across Recipe, Formulations, Packaging and Project & Portfolio Management.
• Own the global functional solution, technical standards, delivery and operations governance, and maintain technical documentation.
• Define and maintain global solution blueprints, IT controls and policies to ensure standardisation across markets.
• Lead solution design and transformation, offering hands‑on SAP PLM and SAP IPD implementation guidance throughout design, build, test, deployment and sustain phases.
• Act as guardian of the global template during deployment waves, ensuring alignment with S/4HANA and SAP IPD principles.
• Partner with Business Process Owners, SMEs, Data teams and other Solution Owners to deliver coherent, integrated designs.
• Deliver ongoing BAU changes to the legacy SAP ECC landscape.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering SAP S/4HANA, SAP IPD/HANA and SAP PLM solutions at enterprise scale.
• Demonstrated ability to own end‑to‑end ERP solutions, set technical standards and govern global templates.
• Strong collaboration skills with business process owners and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in the healthcare sector or large‑scale digital transformation projects is advantageous.
