About the role

We are seeking a Security‑Cleared DevOps Engineer for a 6‑month contract, working primarily from Newcastle upon Tyne. The role is inside IR35 and offers a daily rate of £450.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain infrastructure on AWS using Terraform.
Build and support data pipelines with Apache Spark, Airflow and Python.
Containerise applications with Docker and manage CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
Collaborate with the DWP Integration Team on products such as the Data Access Layer and SFT.
Perform security scanning using tools like Trivy, Trend Micro and Wiz.

Required profile

Security Clearance (SC) is mandatory.
Proven experience with the listed technologies.
Ability to work on‑site two days per month in Newcastle.
