About the role
We are seeking a Security‑Cleared DevOps Engineer for a 6‑month contract, working primarily from Newcastle upon Tyne. The role is inside IR35 and offers a daily rate of £450.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain infrastructure on AWS using Terraform.
- Build and support data pipelines with Apache Spark, Airflow and Python.
- Containerise applications with Docker and manage CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
- Collaborate with the DWP Integration Team on products such as the Data Access Layer and SFT.
- Perform security scanning using tools like Trivy, Trend Micro and Wiz.
Required profile
- Security Clearance (SC) is mandatory.
- Proven experience with the listed technologies.
- Ability to work on‑site two days per month in Newcastle.
