School Business Manager (Primary) – Liverpool

About the role

The School Business Manager will join the Leadership Team of a primary school in North Liverpool, reporting directly to the Headteacher. The role is responsible for overseeing the business functions that keep the school running smoothly, allowing teachers and governors to focus on teaching and learning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial management, budgeting and reporting for the school.
• Oversee health and safety compliance and risk management.
• Manage human resources functions, including recruitment, staff contracts and payroll.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and school policies.
• Coordinate administrative services and provide day‑to‑day operational support.
