About the role
Berry Recruitment is seeking reliable School Cleaning Assistants for schools in Wigan. The role starts in September and offers flexible part‑time hours, ideal for individuals looking to earn while gaining experience in a school environment.
Key responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, dust and polish classrooms and common areas.
- Report any damages or issues to school management.
- Check and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness across the school.
Required profile
- Enhanced DBS clearance (assistance available for a fee).
- Completion of online training for Food Hygiene, Safeguarding and KCSIE (provided).
- Availability Monday‑Friday, 2:30 pm – 6:30 pm with flexibility.
Required skills
- Cleaning equipment operation.
